Mary Graduated at Waimea High School, in 2012, on the island of Kaua'i where she was born and raised. Following her graduation from high school, she flew to O'ahu to attend Paul Mitchell the School Honolulu for cosmetology. It was during her time in cosmetology school that she fell in love with the city life, so she decided to make O'ahu her new home.
In December of 2016 Mary acquired her cosmotology license. Visit Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs for license verification.
Mary enjoys tedious work hence her love for lash extensions. Since doing lash extensions comes easy to her, she prefers to do it over hair or nails, as she doesn't have to second guess herself with placement. She also enjoys being able to create art on clients and having her clients be walking advertisements for her artwork. Seeing her clients with sparkles in their eyes is what drives her to do her best. Mary feels that a lash extension set is never one size fits all. She always tries her best to find what a client likes and dislikes to achieve their desired look. Consultation is key and the best type of icebreaker, especially for first time clients. Mary is left handed, so don't be surprised if she places tools or starts a lash extension set differently from the other employees.
When Mary is not working she enjoys brushing up on her sewing skills, baking macarons in the shape of pandas and other unique cookies, playing video games, snuggling with her dog Alphonse, and reading young adult fiction page turner books. Mary's favorite animal are pandas, which has earned her the nickname 'Panda' by both employees and clients.
